Bachelor Of Arts

B.A. stands for Bachelor of Arts. It is a bachelor degree program that refers to an undergraduate course of study. BA graduates have the opportunity to choose subjects from a wide range of subjects offered in this course. It enables the students to pursue multiple career options. Historians, economists, educators, archaeologists, political scientists, philosophers, social activists, personnel managers, psychiatric and sociological specialists, philosophers, public relations managers, journalists, and more are some of the options. They can get employment in both the private and public sectors. In the private sector, they can work in BPOs, public relations firms, consultancies, journalism, etc. In the public sector, they can work in railways, banks, PSUs, the army, etc.

 

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have received their 10+2 education from an authorised and recognised board. Additionally, some universities require that applicants have a minimum of 50% cumulative marks in their 10+2. For SC/ ST students, certain colleges also grant a 5% mark relaxation on this criterion.
